Getting Behind

I'm trying to decide what to blog, seeing as i've left it so damn long. Here is what i did on the weekend, the basics. Really just go look at Jame's, his is a lot more thorough

SATURDAY
On Saturday we went to some flea markets, and, just to make it absolutely clear, i fkn HEART flea markets. Old junk is like my favorite type of junk and these markets were like heaven. Tables and tables of old jewellery's, shoes, nic nacs, antiques, EVERYTHING. So good. The first one we went to at Hells Kitchen had a shuttle bus to another lot called 'The garage" which was much of the same. I came away with a pair of shoes, jacket, some brooches and vintage New York postcards (which will I will prolly not get around to posting). My day was totally ruined though, I spotted some late 50s-early 60s nude playing cards which I thought was an excellent present for Mark but I picked them up and this mega creepy guy was all "I'm buying those" > : [ So mad, I hate when that happens. Anyway so I'm going to get up early this Sat and go again because lord knows I need more nic nacs.

Then we got back from that and went and saw Cat Power and Built to Spill. Then we went drinking. Look at Jame's blog for more.

SUNDAY
Mega sleep-in then the pool party, saw Dan Deacon who I thought was cool then Erase Errata who I HATED so we left. Then we went into Manhattan and saw Fourtet w/ Steven Reid and Tortoise. Fourtet ruled and Steven Reid was totally amazing, I think he stopped about 4 times. so good. Tortoise were good but there's something I don't like about them. I cant put my finger on it. They were cool though. yeeehh.

Going to the Guggenheim now and then to Deerhunter. Will maybe do more blogging after that? Maybe : ]
