That was fun. Since we were in the area (lower manhattan??) we decided to go look at where the World Trade Centre used to be.
Being at the site makes you realise how frkn nuts 9/11 would have been irl, but I guess you can tell that from the images on television too....
We wondered around Wall St for a bit and it was pretty sureal... It was barely open to traffic (I think) and there was security everywhere.
The Southport Music Festival is held every summer and is held on Pier 17 at the side of the river. It's free, and is a nice place to see bands. So after all our walking around and junk it was cool to just go to a bar, have a beer and some eats and watch bands. I was there to see Black Moth Super Rainbow, and they were pretty damn good. James was there to see Fujiya & Miyaji, who were okee.
